depends which vehicle you are looking at, each plant has its facilities designed for certain models. there is a plant in spartanburg, south carolina, US, there is one in south africa, there is one it oxford, great britain, and of course one in munich germany, everyone has specialties. IE the oxford plant is where the MINI is made, and the Spartenburg, SC makes the Z4

the european models come straight out the factory in munich, germany. not shure bout us models.

all bmw's as of right now are made over seas. They are how ever building a plant in the southern US. Watch for quality issues!!

BMW's are built all over the world if you break the cars down piece by piece when you look at the manufacturing process. However in terms of final manufacturing there are 14 plants world wide with a 15th plant to come via a joint venture with China.
