False advertising on your site by Midford

Asked by GuruV7VP8 Sep 18, 2018 at 04:34 PM

Question type: General

I contacted  this dealer in 2 different occasions to
purchase a van on 9/12/2018  stock #180440 for
the amount of $ 26311.00 spoke to John he said
van is still in the lot I told him I'm interested in
buying it cash ,  he told me that's fine let me call
you on Monday to finish everything.  He called me
on Monday as promised giving a million excuse
that it was put on sale at that price by mistake. I
told him I u understood and that was the end of it.
Monday evening I was browsing your site one
more time and I ran into the same dealer
advertising another van stock #180441 for the
amount of 25897.00
Called the dealer this time was steve and gave me
all excuses why he can't sell me that van.
I have been a loyal customer on your site I buy cars
all the times T this poi t I'm going to report the site
to BBB for false advertising because I don't think
it's fair for me to waist my time looking at your site
to buy a car and after spending many hours finding
the right deal and get shafted.
I would like to know what are you going to do
about it before I contact BBB.
Thank you very much, hope to hear from you soon.

Unfortunately cargurus has nothing to do with what happened to you. The dealership is the ones whom post the information and they can edit them at any time. When you call the better business bureau make sure you tell them what the dealership has done. But you would be better off contacting your secretary of state or federal trade commission for the complaint. Good luck
