Last year. But even more of a challenge, I'm self employed . Proving income that I dont bank due to old tax liens creates more of an issue :(

Many dealers that say , oh we can help , but they dont so my hard inquires are adding up! I need bhph :( however a low score and down payment ect. Means I'll pay over book and 24% interest. That totally sucks! The more money you have the less you pay. So I have to overpay greatly in my situation :(

Save your cash and rebuild your credit once you start reporting income so that you have verifiable income. You could go to a buy here pay here loan shark and pay 30% interest or live within your means. If you press proving unreported income you may end up digging your self a very deep hole with the IRS.

Oh and In a perfect world id could save my money up , put all my money in the bank pay all my taxes and have great credit ! But it not that easy . I work every day several jobs and need a car now. I take 2 days off a year. Support a disabled family and if all my taxes were paid I'd be homeless . Renting in the valley is incredably high ! But you likely own and dont have that problem. Yes , I made mistakes . We all do . But the system prevents me from getting credit so I cant reestablish my credit . So many like myself pay 3x more for everything . Rent, furniture , appliances, and cars. I pay dearly for past mistakes by working 7 days a week to afford the things a family needs. Thank you sir. But it's not as easy as you make it out to be . Life is uncertain and everyone's situation is unique. And often quite challenging. :(

I've seen lower scores than this and your right far as the buyherepayhere dealer and subprime lenders. Other than that you can see what an consumer credit counseling service would recommend. Your just in a bad spot right now. I wish you luck.
