Wrong information

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

A car was listed on this site for $14900 and then changed
by the dealer to $15,900 after I brought it to their
attention. They are insisting that it is your websites fault
and they will not honor the price. Is it possible for the
mistake to be on your end, or is it the dealers information
that they posted?

Pretty sure that the dealers are responsible to post all of the information in their advertisements. They are flat out lying to you.

Avoid this dealer, they're just baiting people with low prices then pulling the bait-and-switch. Dealers are 100% responsible for the content of their own ads.

Even after 5 years this shit is still happening. Shows some price and when you contact the dealer they have a different price there.
