Car title says 4 door but the car is a 2 door. What should I do when I get the new title in my name?

See if the VIN # matches the car and the title . If the numbers don't match go to the Department of motor Vehicles and they will know what to do ' It could be a stolen car , even if the numbers match it could be someone tampered with the Vin Any police officer, if he runs your plate number can tell It's not a 4 door . So unless you like being handcuffed & sitting in a Police car I'd get the right title
