Thanks to CarGurus!  I found the perfect
vehicle.  I will keep the app but if you could
tell me how to turn off the email alerts I
would be grateful!

In the upper right corner of the page click on "your name", then click on "my account", then click on settings and un-check all the e-mail notifications.
