How ca I obtain  a Carfax report on a vehicle I am
planning to purchase.

Go to carfax.com, enter the VIN and payment info.

RBery is right, cost $40. But if this a dealer, demand one, and they don't produce it they have something to hide. I have a post up that is the 'thank you your answer will be posted shortly, I will take down if this one posts

Carfax is not a scam, if you're buying a used car without some sort of car history report, be cautious. I got a carfax report for only $8 at vinseek.io much cheaper
