Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2006 infiniti g35 sedan, and i want to make it sound louder. The
only method i'm aware of is straight piping, but ive heard that you lose
something like horsepower or torque, and other methods may make you
lose gas milage (I am not educated in the topic enough to back up my
knowledge of losing specs, so please correct me if i am wrong). So what can
i do to make my car louder? I know there are more expensive ways to do it,
but i wasn't looking to spend more then around $200. Thanks!

your car will run quicker with some >TUNED BACK PRESSURE<...without knowing anything about what you are trying to do...call flowmaster and get there product...for about 50 dollars....and then change the intake filter/inlet to balance it out ....
