what is the best turbo brand ? based on your experience or what you think you know.

I believe Garrett still makes the best turbochargers around, followed by Turbonetics (which is based on Garrett design). www.turbobygarrett.com www.turboneticsinc.com

^^x2 he's got it dead on. a turbo is DEF not something to skimp on or cut corners with. and garret and turbonetics know their stuff.

Actually, Holset does make pretty solid turbo's... I always forget about them because they're mostly used in OEM applications. I can't speak for the long-term reliability under high boost though, because I've never known anybody who used one.
