1992 Toyota pickup 3.0l v6 5spd 4wd extra cab rear differential?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1992 toyota pickup extra cab 3.0l v6 5spd
4wd.  The rear differential finally decided to give
out on me.  The issue I'm having is the gear ratio.
I've looked up it up. An come to find out it's a 4.30
gear ratio.  I'm having a hard time finding a new
one. I've been told it's kinda rare due to they didnt
make that many with that ratio.  I wanna go to a
different differential. But afraid to. Any suggestions
on where I can find one. Or suggestions on another
gear ratio thatll be good.

Find a differential shop and have them rebuild it.

That's what I may end up having to do. Cause I'm not having no luck findin anything. Not even a toyota dealership knows. Which is sad. There was 2 on ebay one for 600 an another for 1,100. I've went on rock auto for a rebuild kit an some more. An still nothing. But thanks for the suggestion

it doesn't have to come from just a pickup truck but could also come from a 4 runner. Also, it doesn't have to be the same year. Any year from 1990 to 1995 will work.
