What does it mean when it says CASH only deal?

I wouldn't think that statement would need any explanation. Can I assume it is a private seller?

You pay in cash. No checks, no loan, no barter commodities, no trade, etc JUST BRING THE CASH. Be sure to get a bill of sale that includes the sellers ID (like driver's license number) and the VIN of the car being purchased. Also the transaction should result in your holding the signed and delivered vehicle title with the same VIN.
