Loud hum while driving

Asked by GuruN6NHV Nov 07, 2019 at 05:31 PM

Question type: General

My 98 Sebring is making a loud humming
noise when I'm driving it. It's so loud around
55 mph you can't even talk over it. I don't
know if it's the tires or the hub making the
noise. Any suggestions what it could be.Its
not popping or anything when I turn or
shaking while driving it's just humming real
loud.

if its a hub bearing when you here it turn the wheel right and left to see if the noise changes. If it dose its most likely a bearing

Get it to a mechanic asap. Something that loud could be serious and cause an accident.
