just bought new 2019 suburu out back. after being wonderful for a month the car suddenly would not start. cranked over but would not start. suburu mechanic says nothing is wrong with the car, but he stepped on the gas to start it. you are only supposed to step on the brake to start car. what is going on?

Did they explain this to you? You should not have to step on the gas to start a fuel injected car.

This was explained by both the sales man and a mechanic when we bought the car. it is also in the book that comes with the car.
