put in 98 ram 1500 4x4

Any time you are installing a different size engine, there will be all kinds of problems. Starting with the motor mounts, exhaust system, Engine Control module, wiring harness, emissions, transmission, etc, etc, etc. And trying to put a GM engine into a Dodge will be very problematic. Yes, it can be done but I wouldn't recommend it. It will be a very expensive project.
