F150 2019 5.0 engine

Ford and a lot of other car builders are using low tension oil control rings and super thin Zero weight oil which leads to oil consumption. This is now the new normal. Don't expect it to go away.
Patience, my 2018 F150 5.0 used a quart in 2700 miles when new and since then has dried up. I did switch to full synthetic Motorcraft oil, but doubt that had anything to do with it. Ford will take care of it.
Thank you I hope but the engine is pinging or like a typewriter noise! Someone else suggested maybe the timing belt slapping. Whatever it is it is frustrating after spending 45,000.00 it’s just unacceptable this whole thing
