Florida vehicle, out of state, private owner, process to transfer title and pay taxes?

I'm looking to purchase a call found on CarGurus, from an out of state private
seller in Florida. I'm looking for anyone that can comment on the process
involved about purchasing the vehicle privately, and the paperwork involved at
the local DMV to properly transfer the title and pay any taxes due.

I would contact the FL DMV and your states DMV on what is required. Once you purchase the car, you would need to title it and pay the sales tax in the state you reside in.

It would be your responsibility to register it in your home state. Check your states DMV website for requirements.
