2007 Mitsubishi Galant

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It's struggling to start.  It starts but I have to hold
the key longer to get it to start.  It's been slow to
accelerate.  Sometimes I have to take my foot off
the gas and try it again before it will move.  I also
noticed that it shakes when going up hill.  Any
ideas what the problem could be?

The check engine light has been off and in for the past year. Everytime I take it in to check on it, the light goes off and they can't find anything wrong with it.
