Transmission fluid capacity

Owner's manuals will say something like 14 quarts but that is total capacity for the automatic transmission. When you remove the pan to replace the filter, you will be draining about 5-6 quarts and replace the same amount with the correct type, that is usually stamped on the dipstick. The remaining fluid is in the torque converter, cooling lines, and any other heat exchangers.
Hey there is no dip stick from my research!! Heck I can’t even remove the transmission fluid cap. Is there a truck I’m missing ??thanx

I forgot that some cars no longer have a tranny dipstick. It used to be the foreign cars doing that. I think it would be a good idea to let a transmission shop handle this one. It might be about $100 but that's money spent wisely.
