Customer sent me an "offer" & I "accepted" . I started "Bill of Sale" process & got this back from CarGurus : You invited XXXX to purchase your XXXXXXX on Invalid date We've sent your buyer an invitation via email and their CarGurus Inbox. Once your buyer accepts, we start preparing the Bill of Sale and other paperwork. A CarGurus representative will call you once we hear back from your buyer. We will talk to both parties and close the deal. So it appears to me the real "offer" is sent after we negotiated the price & the customer's "acceptance" comes in the form of his sending funds to CarGurus . I believe I could accept a higher offer, and whoever sends $ to CarGuru's first gets the car . Otherwise , the buyer could not send funds for whatever reason and my car would be in limbo .

This is a car repair forum so we really cannot help you. Is this CN's Tim?
