Its an 06 and throwing a cam sensor code. I'll assume it's a bad cam sensor. Which infact ot does have. If youre infront of the car lookin at the motor, you see the oil fill cap, thats the side the cam sensor is on. Its on the bottom side, above the oil line.

I have looked at all of those pictures of the positioning of the sensor and I'm telling you there's no sensor on the car for the the camshaft not on the back by the exhaust not on the front nothing I've looked at engine over completely I've called the dealer the only thing they can tell me is that they're going to have to bring it into them and do a Diagnostics on it to find out what other code is being put out there but thank you and for trying

I'm baffled how it'd be that new without a cam sensor. Especially if its throwing a cam code. Unless the motor has been swapped and its an older one.

That's the original motor I bought the car in 2006 with 20000 miles on it and had no problems until last month they but I don't know why it all everything shows that has cam sensors but that's one just doesn't have them anywhere on there I've checked on the bottom of checked on the top of the motor I've gone all the way in the back and check there's just no cam sensors it's got me confused to the only thing I can think of is the dealer done something different that the manufacturer on this one

I bought my 2006 Chevy Cobalt new. I had a radiator problem and it destroyed the engine to the point it had to be replaced. My dealership replaced the engine with a different engine with low mileage. This engine does not have a camshaft position sensor on it. When I replaced the ecu, recently, according to my VIN, the CHECK ENGINE light came on with code PO341.. The code did not appear with the previous ecu. How can this be cleared?
