Won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 v6 mustang standard transmission. I
try to start it and I get about one click and nothing.
Then the lights, door chime and radio go
completely dead. Turn key to off position. Pop
hood and it all comes back on. I can push start it
and it runs.radio and everything works when I do
push start it. It has shut off when I've hit the
brakes. Battery is at 14 v when running.

One loud click is saying you have a starter that is starting to fail. A series of clicks is a voltage loss problem.
