Buying on credit

Asked by JesseJames65 Mar 13, 2019 at 11:47 PM

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Is it at all possible for a person who's credit
score is 545 to purchase a vehicle from the
lots you work with? We keep getting the run
around. Having do all types of car loans
online. Just tired of it. I would think if a
person brought home $1500 monthly,then
with a good down payment would be
sufficient.  I'd  appreciate it if you could get
back with me in this. Just want it straight
out.

Contact the car dealers, this is a car repair forum. Ability to borrow depends on their rating, income and their other expenses. I can't imagine too many people that make $1,500 a month have anything left over for car payments.

Look at your budget and figure in a car payment, insurance, registration, gas and repairs and see it you can make it work. Even for a cheap car that you don't drive much you would need close to $500 a month to keep it on the road.
