Durango wasn't introduced until 1998. (https://www.allpar.com/model/durango.html) First generation Grand Cherokee was 1993 - 1998 and second generation was 1999 - 2004. (https://www.allpar.com/model/99gc.html) There is a lot of information on the AllPar site. I do not believe the wiring harness is the same.
