I want to lease a car in Australia. I have a car allowance of $18k. How much should I spend, I will be on the road about 60% of my job.

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I was thinking of spending around $35k on a car. I am only 23 and have
never leased a car so I have no idea what the reality of it is. I know I  have to
consider how much fuel I will use, as well as services and other expenses. I
know there is a limit of how many kms you can drive and will get charged if I
go over. Apparently I have to count in depreciation each year as well. Can
anyone advice me on what to do?

Read the lease before signing!!! If you are on the road 60% of the time you will probably exceed your lease kilometers in the first few months of your lease.
