Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I agreed to a price with a buyer but have not heard back from them in the
meantime I received another offer to buy at a higher price. What is the protocol

This is up to you. I would write the first guy and tell him he has until tomorrow to pay you for the car. If he does not respond sell it to the next guy. Always tell buyers they have limited time to pay for the car otherwise they will jerk you around.
