The main problem with this is the amount of space in the engine bay. If you are fine with cutting and configuring and possibly finding a new hood that has enough space for the motor it is possible. If you make this engine configuration you will have to change the tourqe converter, transmission , and change the rear end to add a custom drive shaft.

The problem is there is a large amount of work required when you replace a different size engine in a vehicle. Motor mounts, exhaust system, transmission, emissions, gauges, wiring, etc. All of this needs to be figured out. If you are paying a garage to figure all this out, it will be a very expensive endeavor.

Anything will fit with enough fabrication but consider this: Drop a redblock B230FT four cylinder in it. Easily can get 350 HP for 100's of thousands of miles. No need for a larger, different suspension.

Will a 2002 4.7 engine fit into a 2005 Toyota tundra 4.7 will it fit having problems hooking up wires what do I do?
