security bypass or reset

Hey got broke in ignition  so I bought
used switch and key  put it on  but the
security  light stayed on then battery
died  and it ain't  ran since I  have
managed to get it to start and run for
like  3 seconds and dies and the lock
symbol flashes 3 times when it dies
what do I do

It's the immobilizer the ignition and key and ecm all need to be programmed so there in sync. Call a locksmith and say you need your new key programmed

It does not have to be a locksmith, it can be a mechanic or dealer that has the proper equipment. But that usually requires the cost of a Tow. A locksmith can come out to you.
