So you are saying the key would not turn when it was in park? If so, the shift linkage could need adjusting. Has it happened before or is this a new problem?

Your steering wheel goes into lock position after you stop your engine and take your key out. When you put your key in to start car reposition your steering wheel in a different position so that you may start the vehicle. Sometimes the steering wheele is a little hard to move but when you move it you will see that the key will move into position to start the car....good luck.

If your car is still running while you take the key out it could be that you are using the wrong octane. Use a higher octane.
