Where to find performance parts for a 2017 impala

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I cant find anything performance part wise for my
2017 3.6 impala, not even a cold air intake. I have
looked at chevys new catalog and did notice the
impalas absence but seeing how the impala is the
sportier one of the two I figured I'd still be able to
find them somewhere

Performance parts are made for performance cars. Cars with little potential don't get much attention.

Yes but the Malibu has performance parts available and it is much slower and less powerful than an impala

Turbo engines are easy to mod. Naturally aspirated engines not so much!

That Impala engine is the same one they install in Camaros. But the Camaro is rear wheel drive, so parts like an air intake are different. The only thing I’ve found is a air filter element that fits in the stock air cleaner assembly. It looks like a computer chip may also be available, but I’m not sure I want to install one of those and risk a shorter engine life. At 305 horsepower, the Impala is a decent performer stock. It will blow off all but the few cars that have big supercharged V-8s and rear drive, etc, etc. 0-60 in six seconds and a top end of 149 mph were figures many muscle cars could not duplicate not that long ago. These are great cars for the price!!
