There are many people on here having a problem with their 2008 Mercedes having a locked steering wheel and locked gear shifter and locked wheels. No key recocognition! Locked steering column! There should be s recall on this! It’s a hazard! Call the National Safty Commision! There must be a RECALL!!! We need action on this! More will be done with numbers of people complaining!

just get rid of that thing- it is not worth the stress and expense to take on a "cause"- do your homework and get something well engineered and reliable- the Germans have lost it-
