I have a question about the Lexus 430 SC.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It's time for me to finally get a convertible and I have decided to sell my Acura RL and buy
a used Lexus 430 SC [they are all used at this point!]. Can you tell me if there are any
model years of this car to stay away from? I am looking to spend in the $25K price range
and hoping to keep the milage down around 50K total.  I have seen a couple of good
looking SC's in the 2--2 - 2004 years. Any thoughts?

I purchased the 2004 SC430. Models 2006 and later have an auxiliary port that you can play music from your phone...i.e. spotify or pandora... I have worked around this by purchasing a blue tooth cassette insert that connects my phone and allows the music to play and the sound quality is excellent. Otherwise, the 2004 is a good year.

I purchased a 2002 new when they first came out. I still have it with about 112,000 miles on it. A wonderful vehicle and it still gets awesome looks wherever you are at. Absolutely no issues, just doing usual maintenance.
