my lexus sc 400 wont start, it wont even crank

i recently drove my car to the store, got back to the car , tried to start it , and i got nothing... no sound no crank ,nothing.....whats weird is my battery is brand new , the dome lights come on head light as well. but nothin in the dash.. and also it will not shift out of park even with the key turned all the way.the power locks work but not the windows...someone plz helpme witha suggestion plz. it would be very much appreciated

Sounds like your starter died. You will still have all electrical working but the starter just died. Might check the connections to the starter and double check the battery cables just in case something came loose.

that happend to me once and no its not the starter what could be is the two wires coming out from the positive post of the battery, check and move them, I did and my car started again...
