Electric climate control

Asked by terribletim1961 Oct 05, 2013 at 12:57 PM about the Lincoln Mark VII

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My ECC took a crap a few months back. At 1st., the blower motor would be working, blowing automatically without even touching it, like as soon as I turned the car on, and as soon as the digital temperature lights up, the blower would stop.

Now....all it do's is blow. No lights..nothing. Bought 2 ECC from different salvage yards, put them in.....still the same thing.

Since I've owned this car, I've replaced pretty much everything in her but the motor n trans. Don't mind spending $$$ to fix it, but I like doing it myself. Just don't have a clue on how to solve this problem.
NEED HELP. PLEASE.
