Question type: Shopping & Pricing

i have a chance to buy a 1958-1960 Lincoln Continental, it is obviously not as nice as the on in the picture, as it has probably been sitting in the field for at least 10 years and would need some restoring, i am just wondering if it would be a good investment to make if i could get the car as it sits for under a $1000?

Before you buy it, check that undercarriage! It has been in a field for 10 years. It could come to pieces when you try to move it. These are among the largest, heaviest uni-body cars ever built and very complex ones at that. What you may end up with is a collection of parts that could help restore one that is structurally sound, nothing more.
