rear interior window lace

I am trying to install a rear window lace that comes highly recommended and clearly it
does not fit easily and need to know what tips you may have for installing this window
lace for my 1967 pontiac gto. It is a 3 piece kit and for some reason it just does not fit or
go on at all without extreme difficulty. In fact I cannot get it on . I find it hard that this is
sold by so many vendors and no one else is complaining about this. Can you help me.

I would try, but have no idea what window lace is.
