my engine light keeps flashing on and off. it past its test for my tabs this year. so what do you think the problem is i have a Pontiac Bonneville 1999.

i would like to know what is going on with my car. My guy said go ahead and
take the test to get my tabs. i did and it past. Now what the engine light keeps
coming on and off. some days it stays on all day other days its off. What could
it be . I have not took it in to read the codes yet.

Believe it or not. Tighten your gas cap. It happened in my Bonneville a couple times.

IT WAS NOT MY GAS CAP. It turned out to be my GSR valve and one of my spark plugs \wires #4. hop this helps any one ells please look into this.
