I have a 83 delta 88oldsmobile royal brougham and it keeps shutting off. I've replaced fuel filter and had a tune up now I'm about to replace the fuel pump

What should I do or does anyone know how
to help me figure out the problem. The car is
32yrs old so it can't be anything major only
has 55,000 miles on it

Common problem for this issue is the ignition module has an intermittent failure

Minor - part can be purchased at local auto parts store and replaced with ease
