I have a problem with my turn signals on a 96 T bird. They work some of the time and then not. Any solutions?

The directionals seem to work some of the time and then they seem to die a slow painful death.

Is your turn signal switch loose at all if that may be it. eBay has them for $30-40 bucks.

I have the same problem with my bird changed the relay and turn signal lever in the steering wheel column and does the same thing. It work fine one moment then makes a buzzing noise when they go out.

my 92 bird signal stopped working and left my head lights stuck on high. I took apart signal arm from colum (easy to do ,3 screws and 2 nuts) the green piece of system comes off 2 screws behind it you will find nickle size blue washer with silver contact electrical tape . If any of that silver tape is gone your signals wont work right at all. gotta hit junk yard for it ,parts store wont sell just that piece.
