Ford V10 Throttle Body Problems

I have a 1999 F 350 SD with V 10. Really love it. The throttle body went bad.
Had a mechanic replace it with a used one. Worked well for almost a year. Now
it needs another one. The mechanic was able to successfully differentiate a
bad throttle body sensor on another similar truck. Ford no longer offers it. Does
anybody rebuild them or is there a good after market version?
