Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 f150 that will not start . I drove into a parking  lot  and shut off the
truck and when I came back through truck would not start at all. I had no power
at all no dash lights , door lock not working, I had nothing . Cleaned battery post
and then I got power dash lights came on but truck would not turn over at all. It
made a clicking noise at the starter and then lost all power again. Anybody have
any suggestions ?

First of all what kind of motor? Ensure you have power going to the starter then check to see if the starter works by jumping across the 2 terminals on the starter
