See if you guys can help. My brother's 1998 ford escort wagon keeps draining the battery. The oil lamp on the dash stays on. What do you guys think it could be?

Thank you. I fixed it. It turned out to be the oil pressure sender. I replaced it and the light went off. The thing is the light would stay on even when the car was not running or the key was not turned. Thanks again

It was a pain because the oil pressure sender is right by the starter which gets in the way. lol
