whats wrong what can I do?

I have a c 230 when I went to unlock my car the other day it woulnt unlock after
a whle it unlicked and the today I put the remote in the ignition and the car
woulndt start the remote dint even turn the ignition is the fob bad. I chnaged the
batteries in the remote.
