Car starts then stalls immediately

I have a 2009 2.0tdi A3. It has been sat on
the driveway for a week and now when I try
to start it none of the dash lights up?? The
engine cranks and runs for 2 seconds then it
dies immediately.  Any ideas please?? I tried
charging the battery and still no joy.
