2018 Rogue won't start after 2 week of no use
I have a 2018 Rogue that won't start after not using for 2 weeks. Battery works
for radio, interior lights, etc., but won't turn engine over. This has happened to
me twice now.
Many cars today can't be left that long without the alternator recharging the battery. There are lots of systems that run while the car is off and they all use electricity. Your battery has enough juice to light the lights but not enough to turn the starter motor. Put a charger on the battery or jumpstart it and let it run long enough to fully charge the battery. When you plan to do leave the car unrun again, put a battery tender on it. It's a little trickle charger that you plug into an electrical outlet and it keeps the battery charged.
