Vin number

I'm trying to sell my mini and when I enter the vin number
it tells me the vin number still register to someone else!!
I own the car now!! What can I do??

This question has gone unanswered. In fact nearly evey question on this forum goes unanswered. New question: What is the purpose of this Q/A space if questions seldom get answered. Logical answer... it's all for looks... just show. "we care" is the deception, "we really dont care" is the reality. BTW... if somebody else listed the vehicle & used the VIN... CarGurus wont let you list the vehicle. Instead of actually controlling their own technology, they push it back on you to call the previous owner & request they remvoe the VIN from the site. It's comical mgmt.
