1997VW JETTA HEATER DOS NOT GET HOT

No heat-check engine temp. Might be thermostat. Check temp control selector. Check fuses. Heat comes from coolant at operating temps. But controls must be working. If nothing obvious head off to a mechanic. Best of luck.
