Fuel consumption is to high.

My rocam 1.3 Bantam is heave on fuel.  It's been
serviced.  Got a slight jerk at takeoff. No other
issues . Got 400 000 km on the clock

Firstly, check for fault codes in the system, Even if there are no faults, clear the system. Check the spark plug settings, the gap should be 1.0mm. The 2008 onwards the gap has to be 1.3mm. Check the condition of the air filter element. Check for damaged the fuel return pipe from the fuel rail back to the tank. Check the operation of the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure at the regulator should go to a max of about 2.8 Bars
