Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Good day, Ford Bantam 1.3 Rocam 2006.....when I start my bakkie, or put in
petrol, all the gauges takes a few seconds (sometimes longer) before it starts to
register and for the fuel needle to go up.  What could the problem be?

Check the fuses and relays. Perform an Instrument cluster self test. Switch the ignition OFF, Press the ODO Trip button in and Hold it in. Switch the ignition to ON and wait till the ODO LCDs display TEST. The Gauges will go to full sweep and back. Press the trip ODO button again to go to the next self test . Carry on with the tests till you have scrolled through all the tests. To exit , switch off the ighnition key
