Rocam ford tappetcover crack

Hi. My 2006 Ford Bantam Rocam tappet cover cracked on the timing chain side. Anyone came across this before? Any reason for this? All info very much appreciated.

Have not come across this concern. Has the engine previuosly had an overheating problem ? Are you using the Ford recommended engine oil ? Did at some time the timing chain become dislodged. Was the engine previously removed from the vehicle and the Cam cover become damaged that way ?

The little light next to the clock, does it come on and go off after a few seconds ? Does it not come on at all ? Does it come on and not go off ? or does it flash quickly ?
