Heater valve

The 07 heater valve stay hot always, I don't want to
bypass the pipes in the engine. Current vAlve is
two years old, functions couple months once you
open heater it stays on hot.

The heater cables are secured by clips. Are the cables secured correctly ? The heater tap cables might not be correctly secured.
